Marketing Intern – Shionogi Canada

Marketing Intern - Roles & Responsibilities:

• Core projects:
• Help plan product launch strategies, messaging, customer targeting, and competitor analysis.
• Help prepare brand plans for the following fiscal year
• Support a commercial opportunity assessment for a pipeline asset.
• Help prepare sales meetings, including presentation development and logistics.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to inform business strategies and present findings in reports and presentations.
• Assist with ongoing development and management of marketing, training, and promotional materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA students with some complementary background in science
• Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Effective in cross-functional teams and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Analytical abilities to generate actionable insights
• Skilled at synthesizing, summarizing, and presenting business information
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Adaptable to complex regulatory/compliance environments
• Interest in the pharmaceutical sector
• Able to work hybrid and travel up to 10%

Work Term: 4 months (Beginning of September 2026 – End of December 2026)

Additional Information

The hourly rate for this position is $26 CAD. Individual pay is determined by several factors, which include but are not limited to: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range does not include the comprehensive benefits, bonus, applicable allowances, or any additional compensation that may be associated with this role.
